Chelton Brown Ltd- By Sali Brown Managing Director-
I set up Chelton Brown in 1990 in the front room of my home with just one secretary. Within two months we had been so successful that we took premises in York Road and the business continued to grow. In 2000 we merged with Property Management Service (PMS) established in 1975 by Doug Young, which instantly doubled the size of the company. We re-located to George Row and with the town centre location; extra investment in staff and advertising, PMS Chelton Brown soon became Northampton's leading letting agency.
My two partners decided to retire from the partnership in 2005, I reverted the name back to Chelton Brown and we became a Limited Company.
